Butterflies is our 3-5 year olds room, where each day the children extend their learning, through fun activities, across all the areas of learning.
These daily activities will include:
- Messy Play
- Arts & Crafts
- Out Door Play
- Music & Dance
- Stories
- Games
- Construction
- Science
- Food Play
- Sensory Play
Every half term we have an educational theme such as Keeping Safe, Our Bodies, Around the World.
The children will take home a learning project to complete at home with parents based on the term’s current theme.
In this room we also start to prepare the children for going to school and introduce our 4+ learning programme.
4+ gives the children a head start, into the subjects they will learn in their reception year of school.
During your child’s time in this room, their achievements will be recorded in their Tapestry Online learning journey and this will go home with you when your child leaves to go to school.
